Hello Everyone!!
I wanted to welcome you all to the new Stylas Blog. The blog will go over the new items and specials or anything else Stylas related.
Let me introduce myself.... I am LondonJane Windlow, some people call me LJ or London. I am the creator and Designer of Stylas. I have a silent partner named Renee Claymore, she is amazing and very supportive. I can't say enough about her, without her Stylas would not be here today. When I met Renee I was just a noob maybe a week old or so, she took me under her wing and taught be about SL and how it works. With her help and the help of a few other friends I started to learn how to build. My wonderful friend Clapton Bade the owner and creator of Marvel Textures taught me all about fabrics and how to manipulate them as well as many other building tips. Stylas was created in January 2009 and time has flown by! I will go over a bit of RL info that has influenced Stylas. I have a degree in RL for Interior Design, this has really influenced my passion for creating items in SL. I love design and architecture which shows in my homes as well as furniture. I love how free one can be with design in the SL world. I also know how it is to be a new person or one who doesn't want to spend a ton of money in SL. Many of my creations are lower priced so that everyone can enjoy quality with out breaking the bank. This was also important to me because I change a lot, my homes, furniture and clothes so why spend a lot of money when next week I will do it all over again! Stylas creates homes, furniture, and accessories with attention to details. I am a perfectionist in RL and that will show in my creations here in SL. I am easy to get along with and to work with, I never want to get so big I don't have time for my friends and clients. Stylas does take custom orders although at this time they are limited. I am open about certain things in my RL and my new diagnosis of Epilepsy is known to my SL family. It has limited some of the time I have for custom orders though. I do still discuss them and if they are something I can handle I will take them on. Also Stylas is really involved in the group
Superhero Epilepsy Combat Syndicate. This group was created to help those with Epilepsy and to raise awareness to others. Some of the Stylas stores have donations sites or special sale items where the money goes to this group. The store is often involved in hunts for the foundation as well. If you have any questions about that please let me know. Well I think I have covered many things here and thank you for reading! I always appreciate the love and support I get from the group members!
